Is it possible to make a dropdown box where you can pick a second race or a second race group (humanoid, devil, etc...)?

When picking the second race will you also get the HD (prefer otherwise) or just it's abilities, feats, traits, etc..

Custom races are typically built in the editor. Custom monsters can be built with the Bestiary Monster Builder. I've never seen a second drop down for an additional race though. Typically you build a character with just one race.

What is it you are trying to accomplish?

I have for instance made a race "basic demon" and a race "demon lord". Demon lord already automatically also applies rBaseDemon. Now I wish for instance to take a trait, feat or template where I can pick "succubus" or "dretch" in addition to the base race, without adding all the HD.

Sounds like you need to make Racial Custom Specials and give options to your race to take those.

Yep that is how I would do it also. Same they did for Blood of Angels where a Aassimar can be from different types of angels.
