Search and filter options for Spellbook

Hello,

while HL offers a search option when you want to *add* new spells to a spellbook it does not offer anything like it once you want to look up the spell already written in your book.

Even worse it always lists *all* spells starting at level 0 and then you have to scroll through the whole list to find a spell. We are currently playing a campaign with 3000 gold starting gold, so my spellbook is full of spells. I even created a dummy character in HL with an empty spellbook so that I can use it for searching through spells. That's rather awkward.

So we really could use both the option to filter spells by level and maybe even school and we need a search option just like the one in the "Add Spells" screen.

Thanks and regards!

For level type in the search Level: X where "X" is the level of the spell. For the school just type School: Necromancy (or any other school). You just can't use them both together.

I think he might be referring to the table which lists all of the spells in your spellbook, rather than the choose window where you select which spells to add to your spellbook, or which spells to currently memorize.

I have to admit that I've gotten in the habit of saving full and summary spellbook PDFs of my casters so that I can use PDFX-change's search tools on them.
