Scripting questions for 5e

I'm working on scripting up a conversion of d20 Modern into the 5e ruleset into Hero Lab via the inbuilt editor, and have a couple questions as to whether or not it's possible to do some of the things I would like to do. If anyone can point me in the right direction, the help would be greatly appreciated :)

  1. How would I change Common into something else (i.e. English)? I can Preclude Thing to hide all of the other languages when my source is selected, but I don't know how I can get rid of or rename Common.
  2. The classes do not have completely fixed ability proficiencies. For example, Charismatic Hero gives proficiency with Charisma and one other ability score of your choice. How would I implement the "one other of your choice" thing?
