Hello,

I sometimes alter the datafiles provided because I (for instance) prefer a
rarity order sort of the Rarity column, not alphabetic. Is there any way,
apart from convincing the datafile's author, of keeping my changes when a
datafile update comes out?

Thanks in advance,

R.

you can ask the author to add the sort to the datafiles, others may find
it useful too.

generally, what changes did you make to the tags?

CV provides the means for independently augmenting data files with
additional behaviors. This is accomplished through augmentation and
extension files. Unfortunately, you can't physically change something
defined in the definition file via this method. So the specific alteration
you reference below cannot be maintained independently of new updates.
However, many other types of alterations can.
