Any plans to update the Savage Worlds data sets? For that matter, when were the Savage Worlds files last updated? Also, if I purchase the Authoring kit, I also get SW data set, correct?
 
The last update of the SW data files was about a month ago, I believe.

I don't understand what you mean by "any plans to update" them. Please clarify. Are there specific capabilities you want added?

The Authoring Kit option definitely includes the SW data files.

The ability to do Necessary Evil style powers.

And Languages the way they do them in Rippers.
 
I'm familiar with some of the Rippers stuff. I'll have to investigate the Necessary Evil handling of powers. These are officially on the todo list, but we're swamped right now with GenCon in a week, so don't expect them in the next few weeks unless they are quick to add. :-)

The languages like Rippers has now been added. It's an optional setting when configuring the hero.

I have to stop tonight and finish getting ready for GenCon - we leave tomorrow. So Necessary Evil stuff will have to wait until after we return.
 
How about the sanity system in Realms of Cthulhu? It's a pretty recent release, so I didn't expect you to have it, but I'd love to see it.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

Are you going to include the recent Fantasy Companion information with the SW dataset?

I don't know yet. We're working with Shane to get as many of the SW supplement authors officially on board as possible. Once the dust settles with that effort, we'll know which games we can/can't officially add.
