Sanity Failed To Update (-306)

Tried to sync after the latest update on the laptop and get:

Sync failed with error code: Sanity Failed To Update (-306)


Strange as it worked fine on the desktops I use. I think I didn't update or sync for quite a while on this machine. Still... very strange error.

Any ideas how to solve this? Discard local data and get it again from the cloud?
 
I get this now and then, especially when either:

a) there has been an update and everybody is doing syncs or
b) if I have RW open for an extended period of time and its lost connection to the server for what ever reason, or
c) I have just tried to sync every realm I have in one hit. Try one at a time, or
d) since you seem to indicate that you were using a laptop? try making sure its not putting itself to sleep. My surface pro was doing that until I changed the power settings to be always on if plugged into mains power.

In most of those I normally shut down RW, wait for a few minutes and try again.

Normally it clears itself eventually.
