Roster Notes

Greetings all!

I am very new to writing data files with ABCreator. How do I get information associated with an option to show up as notes on a printed roster?

Thanks!

I'm not certain what you're asking here, so I'll answer a couple different possibilities. Any text given as the "description" for the option will normally appear in the roster output for any entity to which the option is assigned. This behavior can be controlled via the "show" attribute in various ways. Also, when you designate an option as a "footnote" (via the attribute), it's details will be listed separately at the bottom of the printed roster.

Hopefully, one of those gives you the answer you're seeking. If not, please clarify what you're trying to accomplish and I'll do my best to get you an answer.

Actually Rob, you answered it perfectly. I had discovered the utility of the footnote selection since posting my query, but the "show" attribute completes the answer.

Thank you!

Tim
