Rogue Talents vs Ninja Tricks

Working on another data file and as I was looking at how to build something, I ran into a question as I started looking at the data.

Rogue talents, the rogue receives them at various levels. The Ninja is an alternate version of the rogue and gets Ninja tricks. As I was reading various Rogue Talents/Ninja Tricks I started wondering if they really made sense for the Rogue or if the rogue should even be eligible for them.

For example:
Acrobatics Master:
As a swift action, a ninja with this trick can focus her {i}ki{/i} to grant her a +20 bonus on one Acrobatics check of her choice made before the start of her next turn. Using this ability expends 1 {i}ki{/i} point from her {i}ki{/i} pool.

Searching on Ninja tricks returns the following:
Benefit: A rogue with this talent can choose a trick from the ninja trick list. The rogue can choose but cannot use talents that require ki points, unless she has a ki pool.

the only classes that have a Ki Pool, I think, are Ninja and Monk...

So what would be the point in having the rogue be eligible for Acrobatics Master, unless the character has a ki pool. Wouldn't that be a pre-condition of selecting it? Unless I am missing something.

Thoughts?

There's a Rogue Talent that grants you a Ki Pool, so once you take that, you're eligible for the Ninja tricks that require a ki pool.

That's right. I'd forgotten about that, but the question remains to some degree, should the Rogue be able to select a Talent that requires a Ki Pool, before they have a Ki Pool?

Do you own the Ultimate Combat data package? It is part of that book and required for the ability to gain that talent.

Still a bug?

That's a known bug.

I’ve purchase and enabled the Ultimate Combat package, but I still don’t see Ki Pool as available.

Am I missing a checkbox? Or have I checked one too many. I’ve applied the PFS filter, but that should only gray out the option, right?
