Rod of Lordly Might & Hand of the Apprentice

1) So I ended up with a Rod of Lordly Might for the first time ever! :D

Problem is it's just a Rod that's wielded as a light mace. It doesn't have the Hold Person ability either. It doesn't have all the other weapon formats either.

So I made the RoLM Flaming Longsword, Battle axe, etc. I'm not sure how you'd link it so adding the Rod of Lordly Might comes with the other weapon formats as well but maybe I expect too much?

If someone knows how to export just a few things from a editor portfolio let me know and I can make it available to the group.

2) I wanted to have a melee weapon with Hand of the Apprentice to properly display the ranged attack rolls and such, number of uses tied to the Resources counter, etc. I've cannibalized the mechanic from Guided (Item Power) and changed it to Int instead of Wis and removed Dex and added Int to the bonus ... I didn't take on the elimination of the Str dmg mod though as that's unnecessary. Funny thing is that it won't work ... I'm sure there's something I'm missing? Maybe the ranged aspect auto-links to Dex and adapted Int for Dex doesn't enter the Atk calculation without referencing it to the Ranged atk calculation ... but that's over my head. Has anyone already solved this issue?
