Renaming Custom Feats

I created a new feat. I saved and published it so I could use it within the Pathfinder module of HL. Now, I have two copies of the same feat but with different names.

How do you remove a feat from being used in HL?

Do you mean you replaced a preexisting Pathfinder feat with a custom one of your own design (and a different name), or do you mean you created two feats yourself with different names and now find one of them to be superfluous? Slightly different answer depending on the circumstances there.

Are they both custom feats, or is one a core feat and one a custom.

If both are custom feats, go back into the editor and delete the one you don't want, then reload Hero Lab (via Develop -> Quick Reload Data Files).

If the one you want to replace is a core feat you need to know the 'unique id' for the HEROLAB version. Then in your version on the right side of the editor, there is a box called 'Replaces Thing ID'. If you put the hero lab 'unique id' in there, you feat will effectively overwrite the core feat.

Did that help?

Both feats were custom.

Thanks for the information Chava. Yes, your information was very helpful. I was able to remove the feats I didn't want anymore.
