Remove Empty Content and Sections and Date Snippets

I'm using the D&D5E as a game system.

When i create a "Individual" topic for an NPC and then try to use the Quick Edit Content > Remove Empty Content and Sections, it will not remove the Background section nor the date snippets even though i have not touched those. Is this expected behavior because those fields technically do have something in them?

I noticed in other topics that have date snippets that they cannot be removed using Quick Edit Content > Remove Empty Content and Sections. Is this because the pop out calendar needs the snippet populated?

I can remove them manually.

Not complaining as those fields do have value, just curious.

I saw this quote from rob in another topic. While not specific to my question it is a valid work around.

If you use dates sparingly, then you should consider modifying the category structure to simply not auto-add the date snippets when creating new Individual topics. This is perfectly safe to do and does not require removing protection on the category. When you create a new Individual, it will NOT have the date-based snippets, so nothing will appear in the timeline. However, for NPCs that you DO want the dates, you can add the snippet manually via the Options menu.

Hope this helps!

But, i'm still curious about my original questions.
