Reincarnate help?

Ok, so one of my players has just gotten reincarnated into a goblin.
He was an elf.

We use traits in my game, and he had the forlorn trait, an upbringing trait. I can't find a way to allow him to keep this in the game.

It seems like it is not very straight forward how to get around this. I changed his race to goblin and boom... tons of red tabs. He was over his skill points, had too many feats and it didn't allocate his languages. Celestial, draconic were marked red.

Help!?
 
Or simply ignore the warning. The trait's bonus should still apply, even though it shows in red.
