Recent portfolio list

I'm looking to find out how I can get the recent portfolio list back when I right click on the Hero Lab icon in the taskbar. I shall illustrate by use of a screenshot.

See how it is empty? I used to have a list of recent characters in there that I could pin to that so I could launch them directly. They no longer show there, and I end up using the directory that the portfolios reside in to launch the character directly. Is there a way to get this back?

I use Windows 7.

Do you have any utilities installed which would automatically remove your "app history" or "recent documents history"?

This is sometimes done by security software so that your history can't be traced.
 
Security or system cleanup software can clear your file history. Did you run anything like that recently?
