Thanks a bunch. I was rather surprised to see them down, and when I read why, I wondered if this was due to something on your part, or something they recognized of their own accord. As I said, I bear you no ill will, I was just wondering, and thanks for the speedy response.

Ed addressed this one, as its his department.

Yes, we approached them about the trademark issue once we became aware of
their use of our trademark. They are now in the process of changing the
names of the tools and re-releasing them. The tools should be available
again in the very near future. We've got nothing against the tools. In
fact, the way they're starting is much like the way Army Builder started,
so I've got nothing but respect for what they're doing!
The problem is that trademark law is very funny. With a trademark, if you
don't actively puruse its protection and enforcement, you stand a very good
chance of losing it. So, if we wish to protect the trademark, we're
compelled to act, even if it's something that we're not happy about doing.
Such is the case with the tools under Realmworx. :-(
Fortunately, the authors of those tools (who are not associated with
Realmworx in any way, I might add) were very understanding about the
situation and have been very responsive. We asked them to take certain
actions while rectifying the situation - actions that did NOT include
taking the whole site down. THEY made the choice to take everything down
while reworking things. We did NOT ask it of them. They are in the process
of picking a new name that doesn't include our trademark and re-releasing
the tools. From my discussions with Shawn (one of the authors), I would
guess that everything should be renamed and back online in pretty short order.
Hope this helps to explain the situation....
Thanks, Rob
