Hi Team,

A new video up tonight focusing on a better way to copy tables from PDF to Realm Works. Huge thanks to Silveras for telling us about this method.

I didn't go into it too far, but Excel can be quite useful whenever you are doing data entry.

Another very helpful video.

One thing that I noticed is that the PDFs you're working with are very unfriendly to conversion. The method I described worked extremely well for PDFs from a different source, which shows that the layout in the PDFs varies considerably. In the ones I was using, I could easily select the tables and copy-paste to Word as plain tezt ... but the contents remained laid out in rows and columns. I just had to add tabs between them to make the "Convert Text to Table" option work better, but I did not have to worry about multiple columns becoming one long column (for instance).
 
Yeah it was an ugly table. And as you can see, I wasn't expecting it to be as ugly as it was but I felt that was useful to the video and tables and really unpredictable in pdfs.
