Ranger Class Feat: Snare Specialist

The feat description seems to suggest that one gains formulae for common or uncommon snares when taking this feat in proportion to one's proficiency rank in Crafting (e.g. gain three formulae for Expert).

When my character takes Snare Specialist at level 4 ranger; having Crafting at E; and the Snare Crafting feat; I do not seem to be given an option for more snare formulae - I have only the four (1st level common ones) taken with the Snare Crafting feat.

Bug or am I just missing something (I checked the errata JiC)?
