Randomize NPC Hit Points based on formula

Personally I am playing D&D 5E but I would think this would be a good feature for most game systems. I would like to have a setting where, upon adding enemy NPCs to my portfolio for an encounter, it can randomize their HP based on the hit dice formula. so rather than every Goblin having 7 HP it would roll 2d6 and each one would have different HP to give it a more randomized fell and the players don't know exactly how much damage they have to do.

Would this be a feature that could be added?
