Races and Level Adjustment

I see template support in the new update. Very cool. I also see that templates can handle level adjustment. For a test, I copied the line that did the level adjustment from a template to one of the races I made. The file seemed to load fine, but there was no level adjustment when I chose the race. Is there currently no support for level adjusted races? Understandable if the SRD doesn't allow it, just wanting to know.

Thanks!

The RSRD does support level adjusted races. The 1/2 Giant out of the psionics is +1 LA. The hobgoblin is +1 LA. The fire giant is +4 LA.

The SRD allows it, we just haven't implemented it yet. Here's a
question I've been thinking about regarding implementing it: If you
have a race with a +1 level adjustment, should that +1 show up in the
list of classes (like templates do)? Or would it be ok for it not to
show up there, making your first class level 2 (or even higher if you
have templates on top of that)?

Thanks,

Maybe it's just me being blind but I can't find the option to apply a template to a character.
Templates are listed as classes, since they consume levels just like classes. Only a few of them have been included in the data files, although the mechanism is in place and you can add whichever additional ones you want via the editor.

Just FYI for everyone, almost all the remaining templates should be
present for the next release.

Hope this helps,
