Race tag

I made a boo-boo; ok, I made a mistake.

I was attempting to add races to the tags under race: Unfortunatly, I changed the tag name 'race' and the abbreviation. I want to make sure I put it back the way I should have, I used 'Race' as the Name and 'Race' as the abbreviation.

Was this correct?

I'm confused by the duplication of terms you've used above. There is no tag named "race". I think you changed the name of the tag domain, in which case you've changed it back correctly.

Please note that there should be NO need to remove protection from a tag domain in order to add your own tags to it.

Right now, if I go to 'Manage' menu, click on the 'Tags' icon, every 'Tag Domains' I click on (except race) has the 'add tag' grayed out. If I put my mouse over the grayed out portion, I get the following statement "Cannot edit this tag domain at this time as it is protected".

Also note, I am NOT removing any protections to the tags. I simply am creating new tag domains and adding the tags I want to this, I would prefer to use the created (by the system) tag domains, but cannot add tags at this time.
