Hi
I just bought armybuilder and I was wondering if there is a way to get the old warhammer 4th or 5th edition files to build armies the old way ?
If so where can I get them?

I saw you also support chronopia, do you also support warzone and if so where can I get those files?

Is there any way to add units that doesnt exist anymore into a later version like 7th? Like blank lines which you can fill in yourself with points and rules into the already existing army roster?

tnx!

No idea. Hopefully, someone from the 40K data file team can shed some light on this for you.

There were Warzone files for the old V2.x release of AB. However, the game died long before we released V3.0, so no files were ever written. That being said, we wrote a converter for V2.x data files to V3.0 when we released the new version. That tool should still be able to convert the old V2.x Warzone files to something that will mostly work with V3.x. The two main caveats are (a) locating the old V2.x Warzone files and (b) cleaning up the converted files to work with V3.2.

Use the ABCreator tool that is included with the product. This can be used to add your own custom units to the data files. If all you want is points and descriptions, that's easy to do. Hooking up basic options is also pretty easy. Things only get complicated when you want to establish special handling for units.
