There's no way to disable this. It's a fundamental behavior of AB for each
unit to "include" the points for all of its child units. Unfortunately, I
can't think of a good way to work around this either. One less-than-good
idea is to make the parent unit a separate child unit that you can track
separately. The new "parent" unit would be nothing more than a "collection
point" for the pertinent children. Another bad idea would be to split the
current child unit off into a separate unit. And one other poor idea is to
invert the parent/child relationship. Have the parent unit become the child
unit that can be tracked separately. The child unit would become the parent
unit.
I've added the need for a good solution to this problem to the todo list. I
have no idea when it will get added, but it's definitely now on the list.
