M&M 2nd ed. Question about the Power Drawback: One-Way Transformation

Nigel Fogg The Wayfarer

Well-known member
Since the 2nd level (degree, purchase, etc.) of the Power Drawback: One-Way Transformation is supposed to represent an effect that lasts a long time, as in hours, shouldn't that override what is displayed on the character sheet for the Power's duration?

I expect that players will use the Power's 'notes' section to define how long a power lasts but since it isn't feasible for HL to find & draw that information from the 'notes' section, perhaps the normal duration - sustained, continuous, etc. - should be replaced with the words "as defined by user" or a similar term.

The Core rules doesn't say anything about this and the drawback description is a bit nebulous, since the second rank might also represent the need of a special something to turn back.

I'll put this on the to-do list; not sure how complicated it will be to do, but I'll see if I can get it into the next update. :)
