Question about Skald bonus spells

So I've created a level 1 human Skald with a Charisma of 17. I understand that a level 1 Skald only knows four level 0 spells and two level 1 spells, and your Charisma score doesn't change that.

However, in the Advanced Class Guide the description of the Skald class states the following:

"In addition, he receives bonus spells per day if he has a high Charisma
score (see Table 1-3 of the Core Rulebook)."

So by my reckoning, with a Charisma score of 17, I should be able to cast 3 level 1 spells per day (while still only knowing two spells). Hero Lab does not agree with me, still listing only two level 1 castings available per day.

Is there some option box for bonus spells I have to have ticked, or am I misunderstanding the rule?

First level Skalds can cast one spell per day (p. 50 of the Advanced Class Guide); yours gets one per day as a bonus for Charisma, so a total of 2. (You'll also get one 2nd and one 3rd level spell per day when you get to them, if your Charisma hasn't changed.)

You are definitely correct. I don't know what I was smoking! I think I had somehow seen that 2 first level spells in Hero Lab and became convinced that was my base number, but the Charisma bonus definitely would have already been applied by then.

Anyway, thanks for helping me with what should have been completely obvious if I had just taken a closer look at the book!
