Hi!

I've started importing HL Portfolios into my Realms and just came across an interesting Question: If I Import a HL Portfolio and then make changes to the Portfolio, are These changes visible in RW?

Just wondering! :D

Once you import an HL portfolio, that portfolio is then stored inside RW. It is no longer the same file as the one you imported from.

From within RW, you can launch HL to edit the portfolio that is stored inside RW.

Once RW has the portfolio linked, can I move or delete the original from my computer, and still have access to that portfolio from RW?

You aren't linking the portfolio, you are putting a copy of the portfolio into RW; just as if you'd copied (not moved) it from one folder to another in windows explorer.

Thus, you can delete the original from your windows disk drive.

You actually don't even need to create the portfolio first. RW will open HL and let you create the portfolio directly. You don't need to ever have a file saved outside RW.
