Problem with starting spell book

I am trying to create a starting spell book for a new spellcasting class but I get the following error and have no idea what it means or how to correct it.

Attempt to access non-existent thing 'sbStartESL' from script
Location: 'trigger' script for Template 'sbkClsInfo' (in Portal 'startbook') near line 45
