Problem with hl Exporting After New Hero Lab Version Installation

In trying to create an export file I am getting this error message:

Files with the extension '.pkg' may not be exported. Please deselect these files in the 'Select Files' dialog.

But I'm not selecting a file with .pkg. All I'm doing is deselecting all when I hit select files. Then I select a single *.user file I want to export, and am getting this error message about .pkg.

Thanks for any help.
 
I just tried to re-create this, and I am not seeing it happening. Is it possible that you selected the wrong box and got a pkg file instead of the user one you were trying for by accident?
 
Damn the update did just mess up exporting. You can't make an export as all it says is "Files with the extension '.pkg' may not be exported. Please deselect these files in the 'Select Files' dialog.".

I tried just selecting a single .user file or using the "Tools->Select Only .user files". Both cause the same issue...

Well that just stopped putting out any community packages this weekend... :(
 
Hero Lab 4.2b is now out, which fixes this problem. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your report!
 
No problem. I was trying to do some game things before leaving for a family vacation and encountered this error. But it's great to return from vacation and see you guys solved it within a day. Thanks much!
