Printout Format

I've done some searching, but couldn't find anything relevant... could be it's just not possible, but thought I would ask...

When I print out a character sheet, is there a way to print out more verbiage on feats, abilities, etc? Something simliar to the way the Spells and Powers sheet prints; or perhaps right on the main sheet itself?

Thanks!

Within the Hero Settings you'll see on the right-hand side of the configure hero form (which you'll see when you create a new character, or by selecting "configure hero" from the charater menu), scroll down to the very bottom of the list - that's where the output options are. One of those is "Show Feat/Ability Descriptions" - that will add up to 3 lines of text to the things in the specials list. One of the projects on my to-do list is to add another option that will provide all the text.

There is an option to do this toward the bottom of the options that you can select when you go to first create a new character. Configuration Options is what I believe the menu is called.

While I'm asking; is there a quick-gen method of building NPCs? Add class and level, and it kicks something out with gear and whatever else is needed on the fly?

I want to ask this question again -- Is there a way to quick-gen NPC's inside Pathfinder's flagship CharGen solution??

There is no ability to generate a "random NPC" within Hero Lab - it sounds like that's what you're looking for.

However, as Chiefweasel pointed out, you CAN import a wide array of pre-generated NPCs via the stock portfolios. You can then adjust these NPCs as you deem appropriate for your game, adding/removing class levels, adding/removing magic items, etc.
