Hey, remember that weird thing with a QuickTime logo popping up when I tried to dl v1.1? Well it happened again the other day with program dl, so it definitely wasn't CV and its definitely something weird with my PC.

check the preferences in quicktime. make sure it isn't trying to "steal"
file associations (i.e. becoming the default viewer).

It might also be that your icon store has become "confused" and is showing the
wrong icon. There used to be a tweakui function to fix that, and it was also
available in a couple of "tune up" toolkits.
