*Preclude & *Hidden

I have been using the editor a lot lately, making some home brew campaign stuff, and I found myself using the *preclude tab quite a bit. When precluding or hiding more than just a few items, it becomes necessary to have two instances of Hero Lab open just to find the unique ID of the things I want to preclude or hide. Would it be possible, some time in the future, to put a “choose” button to better facilitate acquiring each unique ID? This way we could pick from a drop down menu much like we can “choose” the unique ID when doing prerequisites.

I'm just bumping this back to the front page because it looks like there were quite a few questions in the last couple of days.

Most of the time I find it easiest to find a Things ID in one of two ways. If the thing is already on the hero like a feat I just right lick on the ? and tell it to Copy Unique ID. Then paste where ever I want.

From inside a script you can always use the Find Thing feature to get it to insert the ID for you in the script. So before going to the Hidden tab use a script to get all your Unique IDs and then just go past into the *Hidden.

Not saying your idea is bad one but the *Hidden/*Preclude tabs are features I think most people use the least. Even if they use it is a one time setup and forget.
