Possible Chevalier bug, would like opinion

Want to ask here about this, before submitting it as a bug.

The Chevalier prestige class, at it's third level, gets Smite Evil. According to the SRD, "Once per day, a chevalier can smite evil as if he were a paladin of his character level." Smite Evil takes the paladin's level and adds that as extra damage against the target. However, Hero Lab only shows the damage as +3, no matter what my character level is.

Should it only be +3, or should it be full character level? If it should be the full level, which is how I'm reading it, I'll submit this as a bug. Please advise! Thanks!
 
I see it too, I think it's because The Chevalier bootstaps the Paladin's smite, which is slightly different so it's only counting the levels of Chevalier.

EDIT:
In fact I'm pretty sure they would need to copy the smite ability and create a new smite special that uses #totallevelcount[] instead of xAllLev
