Not sure if this is a bug or i'm not doing something right....but on the Advances tab the karma to cash arrows are greyed out (this is on a complete character build with one karma point left). so there's no way to convert extra karma to nuyen....
 
You can't keep more than 7 karma for later, and you can't keep more than 5000 nuyen. If you're at either of those limits - with more than 7 karma to convert and more than 5000 nuyen left over, Hero Lab will not let you move the slider, because nothing would change.

For example, if you looked at the advancement tab first, without changing anything else on the character, that character would have 6000 unspent due to his resources choice and 25 karma left unspent, of which only 7 can be retained, and the selector will be fixed at the maximum amount of leftovers in both categories.
