I was wondering if anyone can shed any light on a pts discrepancy in
WAB. When upgrading from light armour to heavy in any of the AoA lists
it jumps up 2pts not 1pt as it should be in the rules. Which is right
the rule book or AB?

The rulebook, along with the supplements, are always right until Warhammer
Historical state otherwise. The WAB datafile should follow what the rulebook
says.

You should note that different units may well have different point values for
upgrading Light to Heavy Armour - it depends on unit's combat ability, ie a very
good combat unit will pay more than a poor one.
