Player view not working correctly

I have convinced half my players how good it will be for the game if they get the player version of this software and I have been adding content all week and clicking on specific content that the players will have access to. But when I click on the player view all of the maps are blacked out, but the text I entered works just fine. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing or something of the like?

Is it a smart image? If so, you must first reveal the portion of the map you want players to see.

Yes it is a smart image. In fact none of the other maps that come with Realm Works are working either. All the appropriate green buttons are clicked, I am not sure what else to do.

I assume you added smart images, did you try to reveal some parts of the image?

Open it, click on edit, then either go to the toolbox and reveal the entire image or select the reveal brush to reveal areas of the image.

Ok, I see all that, but there is no reveal entire map option that I can see. But there are options for reveal selected region and brush reveals. I clicked on reveal region and had to select the whole map by click and drag. Do I have to do that with every map or is there a simple button to click somewhere? Having to do that for each map can get very tedious.

"Reveal Entire Image" is in the Content Pane Options menu. (Center pane Hammer and Wrench, or press F7.)

If you're not normally going to use reveal regions, use normal images ("Picture (Simple)" Snippets) instead. They're either revealed or not.

It'd be nice if Select All (Ctrl-A) worked with the region tools.

Go to the Tools/Options menu at the top of the content pane where you're viewing the smart image. Click either "Reveal Entire Image" or "Conceal Entire Image", as appropriate. Quick and easy. :)

Thanks, I didn't think it would be up there. I guess there are still some "intuitive" bugs to work out....

I am a fan of "right click" and then all possible actions at the current mouse spot show up...
