Yes, the Player Core 2 data set is very likely to be available on August 1st, 2024. This coincides with the official release of the book and PDF by Paizo. You can visit online platforms like Roll20 which often release digital content alongside the physical product launch.
 
I saw the announcement for store purchase of PC2, but there doesn't appear to be a notice for the update downtime yet, those usually appear a day or so in advance.
 
We're playing tonight and using Player Core 2! We've got an 8th level investigator. Excited to have those rules on release day, thank you!
