people of the north: no snowcaster elf ?

I just bought the Golarion #4 that includes "pple of the north". I found the magical items, but I cannot figure out how to make a snowcaster elf. did I miss something ?

Is it an archetype?

If it is, on the class tab look for the add archetype heading, click it and behold the goodness of a list. Select the correct archetype for your chosen class.

If not, is it a base class?

Good questions I think its a "Race Type" like a dusk elf. I am guessing of course but if so its on the "Race Tab" under "Alternate Racial Abilities". Sorry that may not be the exact name as I am not near HL but its under where you pick your alignment on the Race Tab and right above the normal Elf abilities.

So you first pick "Elf" and then pick that its a Snowcaster elf.

Snowcaster is an ethnicity, like Varisian or Kelsheshite, etc. for humans, so look around the background tab once you've chosen the Elf race.

so it seems to be a bug because, as soon as I select race: elf (instead of human) the ethnicities menu disapears. In fact this menu exist only for humans. Or is this an option somewhere to set up ?

Is People of the North enabled (checked) as an allowed sourcebook in the "Configure Your Hero" dialog?

I ask because I see Snowcaster as an ethnicity option when I choose an Elf.

quite fun ! yes it is. I can see Ulfen in the human ethnicities...
something wrong with my data file ?

I ran the update. same problem. there is no ethnicity for all the races but the human :/

If you're working with a character that you originally created before you purchased this package, the new package's material may not have been turned on for that character. From the Character menu, choose "Configure Hero", and on the right-hand side of that form, look through the list of settings to make sure that the correct books are turned on.

Have you verified that this problem exists both on new characters and on old characters?

both and I did the configure hero stuff. (Ulfen is there, so it worked) :/

Ulfen is a base ethnicity so that isn't a valid test.

And it works fine on my copy.

Do you have some new version of the elf replacing the original race?
