I recently purchased a new license and downloaded Hero Labs to a third computer (work, home, laptop). However, the version I downloaded seems to have lots of errors in it. Things like equipping an Intelligence Headband, and selecting a skill, doesn't give me the 'ranks' for the skills selected. Instead, I have to increase the amount of skill ranks I have available, and then apply those ranks to the skills I selected with the Headband.
On several occasions, I've noticed the Attack bonuses have been badly miscalculated. Or the damage dice isn't changing correctly. For instance, if I apply Enlarge Person to a Monk with a Monk's Robe, instead of increasing the size of the damage dice from say, 2d10 to 4d8, it will increase it to 4d6. But then when I 'output to stablock' it will say 4d8, while a PDF will say 4d6.
The damage bonuses are also wrong. Using the Monk again, when I apply Enlarge Person, suddenly he gains Strength and Half on damage with unarmed strike.
I've been able to, mostly, mitigate the errors by applying bonuses/penalties where needed. But I have to keep multiple different versions of the characters, if I want to print off or use different stats. For example, to have a proper Stat Block, I have to keep a version with all the custom changes to make it work, while if I want a PDF, I have to keep a different version with different custom changes. It's frustrating, because I know this program is amazing and has worked so well for me in the past, and yet, now, for some reason, it's breaking down.
However, Hero Labs is working fine on the other two computers and doesn't have these errors. I was wondering if I uninstalled Hero Labs, and re-downloaded it, I would have to wait 120 days to re-activate my license?
