Pathfinder Dataset Bugs

Not sure if you guys are keeping track of the current Bugs, And I am sure there will be, due to this just coming out, but I don't see a Thread so I am starting one. As I find More I will add it to this thread.

Feat:

Weapon Finesse - You have it having a Prerequisite of a +1 Base attack Bonus, PFRPG no longer has this prerequisite for Weapon Finesse

Skill:

Disable Device - You have Disable Device as Intelligence Based, it is Dexterity Based in the PFRPG

Feat:

Dodge - It is not adding to AC, In PFRPG you no longer need to pick who you get the Dodge Bonus for, you now always have it unless you lose your Dodge/Dex (Flat-Footed) Bonus.

Just a few bugs I posted in the data files thread, but thought i'd cross post in this thread.

-Dwarves arent getting dwarven weapon profs
-Cleric domains aren't granting powers
-There are no traits available
-Armor values for medium and heavy need to be increased

EDIT: Oops.. missed that Cthulhu4Pres had already noted this above.

Pathfinder has changed the Armor Bonuses for many of the medium and heavy armors. The following need to be adjusted:

Medium Armor
Hide should be +4
Chainmail should be +6
Scale Mail should be +5
Breastplate should be +6

Heavy Armor
Splint Mail should be +7
Banded Mail should be +7
Half Plate should be +8
Full Plate should be +9

Thanks!

Experience doesn't seem to be calculated correctly when creating higher-level characters. I created a character starting at 12th level, but the Level Up dialog claimed I had 17 levels of experience to apply.

I'm not sure, but this may have to do with the three different XP charts.

Did you find a problem anywhere but the header in the level up form? That's the only thing I can find as I'm testing. Once I add 12 levels to a character I've set as starting at 12th level, the list of levels and the Experience summary below it seem to be correct.

I'll get the header fixed - thanks for catching that.

mgehl, you're right. The actual experience numbers seem to be correct.

I made some characters today and ran into a few more issues, just to let you know:

The Fighter bonus feat list is incomplete. Certain feats, e.g. Point Blank Shot, show up in the Feats tab, but do not appear when selecting Fighter bonus feats. Most likely, not all of the combat feats are tagged as "Combat".

Setting max STR bonus on mighty composite bows has some problems. On the Create Custom Weapon dialog, the text for max strength bonus is white-on-cream, which is nearly unreadable. Also, the left/right arrows to increase or decrease the bonus have no effect. The bonus can be set on the dialog to choose what type of weapon, but the text there is hard to read as well because of the colors.

Even when the Adventure Path content is checked in the Configuration options, the new weapons/feats/etc. do not show up in the lists.

The Barbarian rage power Unexpected Strike does not show up on the In-Play tab.

Sorry to dump on you like this, but better now than later, right? I'll look forward to the next release!

Yep, feats in general are incomplete.

The text on the custom weapon form is something we had noted earlier but haven't had a chance to get to. For the strength bonus of a composite bow, you can also edit that value while choosing the weapon type to use.

The adventure path content has not been ported over, but is on the to-do list. I apologize for not commenting out the sources until there was something to show.

Perfecting the visual elements (like which lists things are and aren't supposed to show up in, and what information the name and summary displays) is on the to-do list, but is a lower priority than getting everything functioning.

Thanks for the reports.

Just adding this here to consolidate from the other thread:
Found a very small bug in my travels - figured this would be the place to mention it:
Gnomish racial ability "Obsessive" is not updating the Craft:Other or Profession:Other with typed selection. It's showing the typed text in the Skills readout to the right, and on the Skills tab (of course), but the drop-down box for choosing what obsessive is linked to will just show "Craft/Profession:Other" for however many you added.

That being said, it does recognize which is which and adds it correctly to whichever it is linked to.

something that i noticed is that the humans get bonus feat but no way select which one. But that just be the fact the I'm running pathfinder in demo mode.

While entering spells for a wizard, using the search function would show a list of spells in the left hand side that looked nothing like the search term, however when you select one, the appropriate spell would be on the right hand side showing the specific instance.

Comprehend Languages also does not appear to be in the spell list.

Also is there a way to have multiple spell books? As well as having them be in your inventory, I noticed a blank spell book, but no option to have separate spell books.

There's a known issue with the search function - that's probably what's happening to your searches.

I figured out what was preventing Comprehend languages from showing up - it had accidently been marked as a having the Psionics source - this will be fixed in the next release. Thanks for the bug report.

Unfortunately, setting up multiple spellbooks would mean re-writing most of the way spellbooks are handled. I'm afraid it isn't really feasible.

Something else I noticed today: The Cleric spell list still has "Cure Minor Wounds" as an option for a 0th level spell. That spell no longer exists in Pathfinder; it has been replaced by Stabilize.

Also, if I may make a shameless feature request, I would love to see a houserule option to allow bonus 0th level spells for high ability scores. Just about every group I've played in has given spellcasters extra 0th level spells per day for having a high ability score; all you have to do is follow the progression backwards one step. Of course, I understand that getting the existing rules implemented first is a priority :)

Rangers have an error, at first level and second level, that says: Favored Terrain Upgrade Resource Overspent: 0 of -1.

Not sure if a bug, but while you have the Domain abilities in HL now, they aren't showing up in the In-Play tab to "check off" per use.

It would be nice to know which ability scores would get +2/-2 when choosing the race of the character.

I would love to have traits as an option to choose in the setting in the next update!

If it is any comfort, I believe they're not an option in the Poll because they're already considered to be High Priority.

I think the general traits from the updated traits document might be added in a v1.2 today, if I recall his post correctly.

To be fixed. Thanks for the report.

Edit: Fixed in 1.3

Could you be more specific about which abilities you've noticed are missing? I know I didn't forget to add the in-play information to EVERY cleric domain's abilities, but I could certainly have missed a few.

It would be nice to know which ability scores would get +2/-2 when choosing the race of the character.
To be added eventually.

I would love to have traits as an option to choose in the setting in the next update!

Coming soon.

A couple of problems that I noticed when making my first character. It is a human fighter.

There is no difference when paying for skills between class skill and cross class skill.

knowledge engineering is not a class skill for the fighter

The Belt of Physical Might does not add any bonuses and one of the other ones only adds to stregnth not dex or con.
