Based on my experience creating my account and what I have read here and on the Kickstarter, the password will NOT be your email as stated above, but you can create your own, *as* *long* *as* you stick to some simple rules.

This is the message you get in RW itself if you try to change the password to something that does not conform to the rules. "Password is too simple, it must include at least one digit or symbol, and at least one upper and lower case letter."
 
I would think so too.

I managed to not see the sentence about the email=password, and thus made my own. I had no problems registering.
