Party Treasure? - New Feature Request

So, I've become the party scribe for my current campaign. Rather than keep track of our undistributed loot on a piece of paper (particularly the gold), I'd like to see a way to have party treasure.

Obviously, I can work around this by creating a new 'hero', and updating his journal/gear entries as appropriate. But what I think would be excellent would be a new tab for 'Shared Gear' that would allow me to put stuff in it. Ideally, it would have a drop down (or the portfolio would have an option) as to how to split the weight--not at all, evenly, or by encumbrance limits.

I don't know if it would have to be split between magic gear and mundane gear like currently exists or not. But I think this would be an incredible addition to the program as it exists.
 
I'd recommend making a "Custom Location" and call it "Party Treasure" then put all items in there (so no weight on you)
 
That does work, but looking forward to when all portfolios can be integrated at the table (per the State of the Wolf post), I can see a lot of ineligance in that.

As it is, we have one player doing essentially that but it's hard to make easy party item tracking - he uses Excel for that now.

I think it'd be great as a DM to dynamically give items to a party pool and let them divvy it up as they wish as all of my players have and use HL at the table.
