Paladin's Code of Conduct

If a paladin selects an "other" god, is there a way to override the Code of Conduct warning, since we can't specify the alignment authorized for the followers?

I tried the temporary adjustement "Ignore Prerequisites" for the Code of Conduct, but it did not worked.
