I am playing a paladin with some friends. Were used the old Heroes of Legend for backgrounds. I got 3lvls of Cleric in background. I created a character using the Gestalt add-on for my first 3lvls. Now I have just reached 6th lvl 3cleric/6paadin, but when I go to mercies it will not let me choose disease Mercy so I can remove disease. It requires 6th lvl Pally which I am. Any idea why this is happening?

Paladin Mercy not registering

Not sure... but it should let you take pretty much any option.
It may color the choice as red, because it thinks the choice is illegal for some reason.
But that doesn't prevent your taking that option.
Is it coloring the Remove Disease mercy as red/illegal.
Or is the option not there at all?

Pretty much what Ualaa said that you can still take it. You could also use an adjustment to force the choice to be valid.
The Gestalt addon is simply put not perfect. Some situations like calculating its level is not always going to work correctly.
