Paladin Archetype Channel Energy

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to create a Paladin archetype that changes the channel energy ability. I created the new ability as a "Class Special" and then added it to the archetype. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but the following instances happen.

1) If I select "cPalChan" under "Removed Class Special", no ability is added.

2) If I do not select "cPalChan" under "Removed Class Special" then I get double the damage/healing and double the uses...

I've tried using information from both "cPalChan" and "cPalHosChan" but neither seems to get me where I want them to go.
