With the announcement of play-test support I was looking for an official response because I missed the twitch stream

I assume HLO always unless you specifically hear BJ say a new game system is going to HLC. Your just better off expecting HLO that than "hoping" for something that most likely is not going to happen.

Hopefully, they will have an offline mode for those of us who run games in areas with spotty to no internet connectivity.

Maybe for use in HL classic whilst gaming, so that all the usual adjustments can be made immediately?

We are currently working on an offline view that will allow you to view your character in spotty internet situations.
