Okay,
Please forgive the bad pun but I wanted a snazzy subject line. I
am now a proud owner of a Licensed version of CV. Life is good. I saw
the comment about the skins and I think that is a really cool idea
and cant wait to see what those more talented than myself can come up
with.
Do have a quick question though, about the giveaway on the site.
Again my version is registered and I tried to enter the contest and
it accepts my License Number but it says the password is wrong. I am
just using the code that was with the License Number. What am I doing
wrong.
And I dont know if I have done this or not but I want to thank
the Wolf Lair guys and gals for being so customer friendly. I mean
you all answer the stuff we put here and you really listen. Thanks
for that and thanks for making a great product.

Yes indeed. The amount of feedback and customer support available for this product is great.

I agree totally. The product is fantastic, the support is fantastic,
the fact users were given data file authoring kits is fantastic.

I hope casual readers of this group don't see all the comments,
questions and suggestions as implications that the product is
incomplete or buggy or anything. It's more like seeing the limitless
potential of making this product even better. You boot it up and
start fooling with it and you're thinking, "wow! I want to this too!
and I want to do that too!"

I've been playing CCGs since Alpha Magic (and you can see from past
posts I STILL have a lot of those CCGs!) and this has to be the most
useful tool I've ever seen for collecting and deck building both. The
fact it supports Mage Knight and Heroclix is icing on the cake.

(Not to mention the fact it supports Mage Knight and Heroclix gives
me the idea it could support Collectible Disk games and collectible
dice games and whatever.)

Great job, guys.

Easily, I think. The big problem with Dice would be a way to show all 6 sides,
but that is easily handled with the mechanism used to the click levels, IIRC.

Who has Dragon Dice now? I know they are even making new dice, so I am sure
that they would be interested in participating.

First of all, thank you everyone for the positive feedback! After
ridiculously long hours for protracted periods, it gets difficult to
maintain the energy level sometimes, but hearing that we're on the right
track like this is a definite boost! So thank you!!!

Now go out and tell all your friends about the product!! :-> :->

Now to address your idea. Card Vault should work with Disk Wars (and its
derivatives) plus Sack Armies with ease. In addition, CV ought to work
great for Dragon Dice. We spoke with the folks at SFR (the current
publishers of Dragon Dice) at Origins. They were excited about Card Vault
and indicated they were putting together revised data for Card Vault as of
GenCon. Unfortunately, I haven't actively pursued it since then due to
having too many things on my platter. :-(

If any of you are active Dragon Dice players and interested in writing data
files for the game, please get ahold of the folks at SFR about this. And if
you don't want to work on the files but CAN encourage the SFR folks to
finish getting complete data together, we'll do our best on this end to
write the files.

Thanks, Rob
