Old characters from WD 227

Hello

I notised that GW have published old Chapter Approved articles on there website. They have re-published the one in WD 227 with alot of special characters. Since I am a Imperial Guard player I checked that section. There are now two versions of commissar Yarrick. One expensiv in Codex Armageddon and one light version in WD 227. In WD 227 there are also two captains, one Tallarn and one Valhallan.

My question is. Will they be included in the 40K-files or what will become of them?

The versions included in the codices are considered the official versions.
As to whether they are included in the datafiles, that's up to Steven Cox,
but I would probably say no.

That's right. The rules from WD are older than the codices, so have been
outdated.
