Normal, Low-Light or Darkvision?

Howdy!

I've got a class ability that does the following:

The royal guardian must stand watch at all hours of the day and night. Such efforts hone his vision, granting him low-light vision if he does not already have it. If he already has low-light vision, he gains darkvision out to a range of 30 ft. If he already has darkvision, the range increases by 30 ft. This ability replaces swift tracker.

What's the best way to handle this as a class ability? For the Aspect of the Beast feat, it's 3 different feats. For adding the Darkvision part, I looked at the Shadowdancer's ability, but I can't think of another class ability that does this....

Night Sight class special does the same thing. Though looking at the scripts looks "way" overly complex way of doing it actually. But its something that appears to work that does what you want.

The "Demon Prince Armor" artifact from UE does the Darkvision stuff. Something else you could look at for how to handle things.
