Non-Class, Non-Race Spell-Like Ability

I am currently playing a kobold rogue. Once the story gives me the chance I plan to have my character go through a ritual that will give him a spell like ability (with a charge). I have no idea where to start to implement this without doing say a variant class but I rather not.
 
You could make the spell like ability a feat or trait and then go to the adjust tab and give yourself an extra feat/trait slot.
