Hi,

A quick question:

---------
Chaos:
Models in Terminator Armour can no longer take Spiky Bits or Bionics.

--------

Why can't chaos characters in termie armor be given spikey bits?

Thanks...

Correct - notice the little '*' missing from both of these items in the
Chaos armoury??

You should see the spit and shit fly on the Unforgiven list when I remind
people of the missing '*' from the special items in the DA armoury :-P

Yes, Brother. It's as if you're trying to take their bolters away from
them and make them use the weapons of the foul and decadent Eldar.

It simply means that items marked with a * can be taken by someone in terminator armor. If it does not....then they do not.

Try reading the description right at the top of the wargear section.

Hope this helps,

Hi Jimi, when & where did this get decided? What possible difference
between spikey bits on power armor vs terminator armor could there be?
After all, what are all of those spikey bits with skulls and stuff
that I have glued onto my chaos termies! If those don't qualify as
spikey bits... sheesh! ;-/

I think Spiky Bits are intended to be the Chaos version of Terminator
Honours. Termi armour already gives you a +1 attack, which is almost the
same as a re-roll, so you can't have both at once.

That's what I'd imagine the logic to be, anyway.
