No Bonus Spells for Class

I'll apologize in advance if this has been answered previously, but no search has bore any luck.

I'm creating a custom spellcaster class that gains no Bonus Spells for a chosen attribute. I have selected "none" for the Bonus Spell Attribute option, so it seems to default back to Intelligence and add the bonus spells any way. Is there a method or option I am missing to prevent this and merely follow the Spells Cast Per Level array? Any assistance would be appreciated!
