No access to own user files after GRC Modern Heroes update

I don't know if anyone else has come across this but since installing the GRC Modern Heroes update today, my own user files won't load up. They're still in the data folder but any characters or NPCs I've created that use the files, don't have them.

Does anyone know a fix? I'd be happy even with a "How to Uninstall GRC Modern Heroes" because I don't use it. I only installed it because I was on autopilot and tend to install any updates that flag up :o

Hum, that is strange. Best way is to delete the user files.

They are here:

C:\ProgramData\Hero Lab\data\pathfinder

BTW - don't forget the PFRPG_ModernSources.1st file.

Sorry about this, IDK what is wrong.

Deleting and readding fixed mine

I was getting loading errors, mostly duplicates, wish I had written them down. Something about duplicate Arcana Archer and some others on certain lines. I deleted all modern stuff as above and readded, no errors now.

Thanks, R2pclaw

Was able to duplicate errors

Was able to duplicate the errors on my secondary licensed computer.

"The data files could not be loaded dude to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors.

The following errors occurred:

File: PFRPG_Modern_Urban_Arcana.use (line 3) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('cModApothe')
File: PFRPG_Modern_Urban_Arcana.use (line 38) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('cModHeWiz')
File: PFRPG_Modern_Urban_Arcana.use (line 60) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('cModNoviti')
File: PFRPG_Modern_Urban_Arcana.use (line 102) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('cModShaSch')
File: PFRPG_Modern_Urban_Arcana.use (line 124) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('cModSquire')
File: PFRPG_Modern_Urban_Arcana.use (line 152) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('fArcaSkill')"

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Ah! Yes the "PFRPG_Modern_Urban_Arcana.use" is an old file that was discarded with the updated "MSRD" files. If you want just delete that file and should be cool.

I am sorry it was messing up, I guess I should have included that file, even though it was blank, just so it would stop any errors. Sorry again and thank you for letting me know.

I added the blank file in the auto updates so it would overwrite the old file. Should be good to go now. Again, sorry for the trouble.

Old files still get error

Hoping I'm not being a nuisance, just trying to help. My secondary license gets this error with new update:

"The data files could not be loaded dude to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors.

The following errors occurred:
Thing 'raCTldolAr' - Bootstrap thing 'xxlmmDismi' does not exist
Thing 'rauMCMirFn' - Bootstrap thing 'xxlmmGaze' does not exist
Thing 'rauNggFace' - Bootstrap thing 'xxlmmGaze' does not exist
Thing 'ruBhole' - Bootstrap thing 'xxlmmContr' does not exist
Thing 'raMuteHag' - Bootstrap thing 'xxlmmGaze' does not exist
Thing 'tmABPlaBea' - Bootstrap thing 'xxlmmMaDis' does not exist"

Update worked fine on the machine, I deleted all Modern data, then readded.

Well, hum, I am sorry. Looks like the MSRD Future has a few problems. Let me see what I can do here. Sorry about all this.

I fixed the age file from the previous post. I renamed it, should be ok. The "ra" files. IDK we don't have anything with "ra". I thought it might be the MSRD Future mutant, but they are "rc" files. IDK my best guess is there is old MSRD file around that wasn't overwritten. If you deleted all your modern files you should be ok with the new files.

I am sorry. Please let me know if that works and any other bugs.
